The main aim of the Club is to remain a "family, fun club", providing the environment and opportunities for children and adult members to reach the standard of skiing they are both capable of and want to achieve. At the same time we also provide the skill and expert coaching to develop talented children into International level skiers.
Gloucester Ski Club is a dynamic, fun and successful racing club based at the Gloucester Ski Centre. Coaching is provided by our team of professional race coaches and instructors who are all fully qualified in their field. Our extensive dry slope training programme includes two training sessions a week and we also run strategic intensive training weeks under the expert guidance of Hedley Beavis.

Snow training is organised in partnership with dedicated snow based training clubs. These include the British Ski Academy and Dragons Alpine, which allow Members to race and train on snow as much as possible. Many members attend the British and English Alpine Championships, as well as other snow races.
At Gloucester we concentrate on ensuring you have top quality training back here in the UK and our racers compete at all levels, from local summer race leagues up to international races. Membership is open to all, with the club enjoying a fun atmosphere. The emphasis is on everyone being able to ski and race at their own level, but most important of all to enjoy it.
Gloucester is a full member of SnowSport England. SnowSport England is the Governing Body for English skiers and snowboarders, and is recognised by Sport England, the CCPR (Central Council for Physical Recreation) and the British Olympic Association. It is a Federation of member clubs and associated individuals with a current aggregate membership of 100,000 skiers.
Recognised and directly grant aided by Sport England, Snowsport England was given responsibility for fostering and promoting the interests of English skiers and all aspects of their sport in England and overseas, through its members and interested agencies in the public and private sectors.
